Age gracefully with these wonderful tips to help you
Getting older is something that we all hope we will do with style and grace. Aging isn’t the end of the world and if you do it properly, each new year can be the best of your life. Use the tips provided here to keep yourself feeling and looking young and alive:
Aging is a worry for many people, but can be slowed down by remaining healthy.
Daily exercise. No one hates to exercise as much as me, but once you make it part of your daily routine, it doesn’t feel like exercise. A healthy diet can reduce aging effects, especially by drinking water. There are a lot of ways to make water more tasty, (I have a Soda Stream machine, and of course the favor packs) so drink up and stay hydrated. Getting plenty of sleep and taking care of your skin is another way to make sure you reduce wrinkles. I love my facials, and rest! Book your facial today. Everyone ages, but that doesn’t mean you can’t age well!
One of the best things that you can do, in order to slow down the aging process in your body is to get your omega 3 fatty acids, and eat plenty of green leafy vegetables.
Special note: If you can, make sure you’re including a decent amount of fish in your diet. The omega-3 fatty acids that are most commonly found in fish have been shown to aid in skin development. This can keep your skin looking smooth and young much longer. If you’re allergic to fish, try omega-3 supplements.
Leafy green vegetables, particularly spinach, are rich in nutrients and antioxidants. This particular vegetable is packed with lutein which helps to keep your eyes sparkling white. This healthy vegetable is also a great source of vitamin B, C and E as well as potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids. Swapping your normal lettuce for spinach will work wonders for your skin.
Be sure to protect your skin from the sun
Getting a bit of sun each day can be very beneficial but be sure to wear sunscreen while you do it. Overexposure can lead to wrinkles and even skin cancer. Taking care of your skin is vital to living a long and healthy youthful life.
Get enough sleep nightly.
It is said that each person needs an average of eight hours daily. Not getting adequate sleep can cause depression, heart problems, and more.
If you feel tired REST! Get the amount needed that’s right for you.
One of my thoughts on the biggest culprit of aging is the STRESS factor. If you can, find a way to lessen the amount of things that you stress over, you are sure to feel much better about your life each day. Do not let the little things bring you down which can be detrimental to your health and age you quicker.
